My name is Alice, I'm 18 and I've just graduated, which means whenever I look in the mirror I grunt, "when did you get so old?". I am extremely ambitious and I feel the need to be first in everything, but I'm also really short and sarcastic so I'm not intimidating.I listen to what people say at night and make songs out of it. I own 7 instruments. I love Coldplay, Keane, Alice in Wonderland, Tuck Everlasting and actively working on things.You can find me at department stores, investigating ovens and funny toasters.
I realized these were all the snapshots which our children would look at someday with wonder, thinking their parents had lived smooth, well-ordered lives and got up in the morning to walk proudly on the sidewalks of life, never dreaming the raggedy madness and riot of our actual lives, our actual night, the hell of it, the senseless emptiness.
